Badami Chicken (Almond)
750 Gms Chicken, 1 Cup Yogurt, 3 Large Onions(Chopped), 2 tsp Ginger & Garlic Paste, 6 Cloves, 2 pieces Cinnamon, 12 Almonds, 4 Cardamoms, 10 Cashewnuts, 1 Cup Coconut Milk, 4 tbsp Oil,2 tbsp Chilli Powder, 1/2 tsp Turmeric Powder, Coriander for Garnishing, Salt to Taste
How to Prepare:
Blend & make a paste of Ginger Garlick, Cloves, Cinnamon, Cardamoms, Cashewnuts, Almonds and keep aside. Heat oil in a pan, add the chopped onions and fry until it turns golden brown. Add the ground masala paste and saute for 2 minutes. When frying paste all 3 cups of water, mix well and wait until the oil separates. Add add chicken pieces, yogurt and mix well. Then, add salt, turmeric powder and chilli powder and cook for 10 minutes. Then, add coconut milk and cook until the chicken is tender. Finally, garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot.
