Biscuit Chocolate Balls | Easy Kids Recipe


It’s so true that time flies. My little champ has begun pre-schooling.  He’s 19months old now and is the youngest among rest of the kids. Since he’s little, he’s been pampered the most by his teachers and seems like he is become the favorite one.  Nonetheless, my little champ is also enjoying himself to the core at the pre-school; it’s fun, isn’t it?

It’s such a delight to see my little champ hold crayons and scribble all over. This pre-school also conducts several activities during festivities and occasions, like the Navratri celebration. The Navratri celebration is a huge festive season in Gujarat. The people around conduct Garba dances all these 9 days. The fabulous part was to see my champ in traditional dress for the Garba at his pre-school. We are enjoying every bit of his infanthood.

Well, today’s recipe is very simple and can be made in just few minutes. There’s no baking, no cooking involved just mix up the ingredients and it will be ready. There’s absolutely no effort at all. And no worries about the taste it is just marvelous. You can also make these for the kid’s party and no doubt they are going to love it. Now, off to the recipe.


Biscuit Chocolate Balls | Easy Kids Recipe

Prep Time: 5 minutes

Total Time: 15 minutes

Yield: Makes 8-9 balls


Marie Biscuit – 1 Packet, 100gms

Butter – 2 tbsp

Cocoa Powder – 2 tbsp

Powdered Sugar – 1 tbsp to 2 tbsp

Roasted Cashews/Almonds – 1 tbsp (chopped), optional

Milk – 2 tsp


Crush the biscuits using a blender or mixer. You can even put them in a ziplock bag and powder it using a rolling pin.

Roast chopped cashews in ghee. Set aside.

Add the crushed biscuits in a mixing bowl along with butter, cocoa powder, and powdered sugar. Mix well. To this mixture sprinkle milk and mix again.

Take small portions and shape them into bite size balls and set aside. Repeat the same with the remaining mixture and serve. This mixture makes about 8-9 balls.


For variation you can roll these chocolate balls into some desiccated coconut or coloured sprinkles and serve. You can add any roasted nuts of your choice.
