Aval Payasam is a very easy recipe and can be made without much preparation beforehand. Me and my son both love sweets of any sort. Since jaggery is a healthy substitute for sugar I try to make sweets for him using this. Jaggery is rich in minerals mainly iron. Also, jaggery acts as a cleansing agent and as digestive agent.
